When our workers decided to switch from CLAC to Local 473, we were nervous about making the change. Local 473 made the transition very smooth. Business Manager, Mark Hall has been a great partner in helping us to secure work and provide workers when needed.
We recently switched unions from CLAC to the Sheet Metal Union 473. We were getting nowhere in our negotiations and felt like we hit a brick wall, so we decided to call Patrick Gordon and get all the info about 473. After listening to him and Mark Hall, it was a no brainer to make the switch. Better pension, benefits and wages. It was really hard to turn them down. Now after one year of being in 473, I wish we would have made the call years earlier.
